The Book of Elijah #1 - Prayer
Today we are going to look at the power of prayer that brings a climate
change in our home, work, school, marriage, or kids. Perhaps you
could use a climate change in your mind, your soul, your spirit,
your health, your habits, or your finances. The power of your prayer
can change the climate. Where could use some rain today?
As a church we have a strong burden for the climate to change in the Bay Area. We know how much people matter to God. We have a strong burden to see more and more people surrender their lives to God, grow in their relationship with God and give God the honor and glory He deserves…to see a rainstorm hit the Bay Area.
Where could you use a change in the climate? For the next five weeks
we are going to focus our attention on a man in the Bible by the name
of Elijah. We are going to learn about change and transition, about
mentoring and influence, about depression and discouragement, and about
boldness and courage. The book of Elijah really is one man’s story,
but every man’s journey. Today we are going to learn that prayer has
the power to change the climate.
