Upward Basketball is a God-designed, kid-centered basketball league for boys and girls, grades 1 - 8. It emphasized becoming Christ-like, learning good sportsmanship and respect for authority, not championship and trophies. Every child s a winner, regardless of what takes place on the court! Our league seeks to develop character in every player by providing an equal opportunity for improvement, while stressing sportmanship in every situation.

Evaluations: November 2, 3 & 5, 6 - 8 p.m. - Family Life Center

Training Day: December 5, 9 a.m. - 12 noon - Multipurpose Room
Practices begin Monday, January 4 and end Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Practice is only one day a week either on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Usually, Grades 1 & 2, 5:30-6:30 pm; grades 3 & 4, 6:30-7:30 pm; grades 5 & 6, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Specific practice days for each team to be determined.

Game 1 Saturday Jan. 16 (Game times to be announced).
Game 2 Saturday Jan. 23 (Picture day:1 hour or 1/2 hour before game - see schedule).
