Prayer
Center
Scriptures are written under the carpet of the Prayer Center beginning with the entry stairs. The Word of God, the
foundation of all prayer covers the Prayer Center. Upon the
walls leading to the Prayer Center are various prayers including
the Prayer of Jabez.
Three major themes line the walkway into
the Prayer Room; The Church, The Nation and The World.
A life-size mural covering three walls of the Prayer Room features
Christ kneeling at a rock in the Garden of Gethsemane. The breathtaking
masterpiece is surreal, giving the impression that you can step
onto the path that leads from the garden down the valley to
the city of Jerusalem.
At the dedication of the Prayer center key leaders in our community represented the themes. Pastor
Kenny Foreman, who has served in the Bay Area for over 40 years,
represented the church. Colonel Eldon Regua represented ministry
to the nation, Ray Nibbi of the San Jose Fire Department represented
the community. Chuck Wilson of Partners International represented
the evangelism of the world. |

Prayer
Center Dedication great success!
Sunday, May 26, 2002 we dedicated our Prayer Center. As Pastor Ken
shared, this Prayer Center will provide a pathway to people
looking to connect with God as well as an epicenter for prayer,
which will reverberate around the world.
There are many people to thank for making the Prayer Center
possible. I want to especially thank Eric Minden of Minden Midiere
Architects for their creative design and to our General Contractor
on the project, Chuck Coady of Habitek Builders, and the entire
construction team. Special thanks to everyone who contributed
to make the Prayer Center a reality.
Those making significant contributions to make this dream become
a reality were on hand to receive recognition and a memorial
plaque. Among the recipients were Jack and Nancy Horton for
donating the drywall, Javier Sanchez of Paint Up for donating
the painting, Richard Wolf for donating the wooden doors and
Trinity Church of Oakland, for a $300,000 gift. Marian and Gloria
Baughman (Shirley Foreman's sister) along with the Board of
Directors of Trinity Church and their families were on hand
for the ceremonies
