Thursday – Family Discussion Guide: Talk About It
Placed Here on Purpose
SCRIPTURE:
"...And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14 (NIV)
Esther found herself in a difficult moment. A crisis threatened her people, and she had a choice to make. She could stay silent and protect herself, or she could trust God and step forward in faith. Mordecai's challenge reminded her that perhaps God had placed her exactly where she was for that very moment.
Many of us spend time wishing we were somewhere else. We imagine that we could make a greater impact if our circumstances were different. Yet God often does His greatest work through people who faithfully serve Him right where they are.
The truth is that your family, neighborhood, workplace, school, and church are not accidents. God has positioned you there for a reason. He has placed people in your path that only you can influence. When you view your circumstances through the lens of God's purpose, ordinary moments become opportunities for Kingdom impact.
You may not feel fully prepared, but if God has placed you here, He will give you what you need to be faithful.
THINK ABOUT IT:
• Where has God strategically placed you in this season?
• What opportunity might God be inviting you to embrace?
• How can you use your influence to point others toward Christ?
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for placing me where I am today. Help me trust that You have a purpose for every season of my life. Give me courage to step forward when You call and wisdom to recognize the opportunities You place before me. Use me to make a difference for Your Kingdom right where You have planted me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
