Friday's Devotional: Share It

Deborah did not rise up only for herself. Her courage helped Barak rise up. Her faith helped a nation rise up. That is how courage often works—it spreads.

Someone around you may need what Deborah gave Barak: encouragement, support, and presence. They may know what they need to do, but fear is holding them back. They may need someone to say, “I’ll go with you.” They may need a reminder that God is with them and their story is not over.

Sharing this message does not have to be complicated. You can send a text. You can make a phone call. You can invite someone to church. You can tell a friend, “I believe God has more for you.” You can sit with someone in their struggle and help them take one brave step.
The hero God is calling out in you is not just for you. It is for your family, your workplace, your school, your neighborhood, your church, and your community. When you rise up, you help others believe they can rise up too.

This week, ask God to show you one person who needs encouragement. Then be bold enough to reach out.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Encourage one another and build each other up…”
