For Leaders
Goal: Help participants discover that God has uniquely positioned them in this generation to serve His purposes through faithful obedience, Kingdom priorities, and Spirit-led living.
Suggested Session Length: 60–75 Minutes
Big Idea
God has intentionally placed each of us in this generation to serve His purposes. Like David, our greatest legacy will not be our accomplishments but our faithfulness to God's calling and mission for our lives.

Icebreaker Question
If you could be known for one thing at the end of your life, what would you want it to be and why?
Leader Note: Encourage everyone to participate. This question helps connect naturally to David's legacy and the theme of serving God's purpose.
Group Discussion
• When you think about David's life, what accomplishments usually come to mind? Why do you think Scripture summarizes his life by saying he "served God's purpose in his generation"?
